Second: This piece is hand painted and glazed in clear on the interior, the exterior is left unglazed and sanded smooth. It is a second due to a warped rim and the decision to stop production of this design. If you get any scuff marks on the white exterior over time, they can be buffed out using a little "Bar Keeper's Friend" cleaning powder or some fine grit wet sandpaper.

This piece is made with porcelain clay on a potters wheel using a process called jiggering.
Note: Part of the beauty of these wares are their handmade qualities. They will vary slightly from one to the next and may include small imperfections. For example, it is common for the porcelain to have some speckling which adds to it's uniqueness.
