This piece is made with stoneware clay on a potters wheel using a process called jiggering. The interior is glazed and the exterior is exposed raw clay that has been sanded smooth.
Note: Part of the beauty of these wares are their handmade qualities. They will vary slightly from one to the next and may include small imperfections. For example, it is common for the porcelain to have some speckling which adds to it's uniqueness.
